What is the most reputable sportsbook?

When I evaluated all the online sportsbooks in my research, reputation was a massively important issue.  You have to know that if you deposit your money, that it is safe and that if you win, you will get it back when you want to withdraw it.  If you are a consistent winner, you need to know that your account won’t be red-flagged for limitation of your bets.  Some bettors win a lot of money betting on sports.  You want to know that it’s OK for you to be successful.  Reputable sportsbooks want to maintain their credibility, and thus they operate in a fair and respectful manner.

While each of the sportsbooks that I list offers their service with excellent mobile betting, live betting, secure technology and Canadian Dollar acceptance, they also needed to demonstrate a track record in good standing with its customers as well-established companies.  These two things generally go hand-in-hand.

You may not know this, but there are scam sportsbooks out there whose main goal is to attract your deposit through massive deposit bonus offers that can never actually be achieved or earned and then ensure that they do whatever they have to do to keep your deposited money.  Quite simply, in their terms and conditions, they may write about their right to hold and keep deposited funds at their discretion.  These scam sites don’t last long because they develop a poor reputation very quickly.  These scam sites pop up, make their money through scamming customers, then close down as the operators move on to start a new scam service under a different name.

This is why it is important to understand how long a particular online sportsbook has been in business in conjunction with all the other criteria that I judged.  If a sportsbook is well-established and has been in business for a long time, it is a great indicator of reputation and how fairly they operate their business.  Below I outline the reasons the four sites that I list are among the most reputable sportsbooks on the market today.

Bodog was developed by Canadian Calvin Ayre and is one of the oldest names in the business, established in 1994.  Although he no longer owns it,  Bodog is specially targeted to the Canadian market, so you know they cater our needs.  For example, they are the only sportsbook that accepts the popular-in-Canada Interac Email Transfer as a deposit method.  Read the full review here.

Pinnacle has been in business since 1998.  They are known for operating on razor thin margins. In other words, they tend to consistently offer the highest paying odds.  Pinnacle calls this 'A bonus for life.'  If having consistently high paying odds is of most importance to you, Pinnacle is likely your best option.  Read the full review here.

Sports Interaction is a unique in that they are both located and regulated in Canada from a Mohawk territory near Montreal.  If stability and trustworthiness are of utmost importance to you, you'll likely believe that Canadian regulation will secure any deposits and winnings that you have, just as Canadian banking regulations ensured our stability in the recent banking crisis. William Hill is a pioneer in the sportsbook business, established in 1934.  Listed on the London Stock Exchange, they are a prime example of a trustworthy and rock solid company.  William Hill understood the importance of our Canadian betting market a long time ago as one of the first international services to offer Canadian Dollar betting and friendly banking methods.  Read the full review here.

About my sportsbook listings: I only list the best.  I do not list online sportsbooks that failed to meet my standards, so you might notice some big international brands missing. Remember, I analysed each company from a Canadian perspective.  Many of the big brands just don’t cater to Canadians well enough.

I reviewed 20 services, but why don’t I list all 20?  Would you want to read through 20 sportsbook reviews?  Would you then sign up with the 17th best one?  Of course not.  So why would I try to create confusion for you?  I keep it simple with the best few.

I don't try to fool you with phoney grades, rankings or star ratings.  My list is in alphabetical order and I just give you the unbiased information, you choose the best one based on your preferences & requirements.
